Veterinarians:
Ken Clark, DVM
A graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Clark has been involved in private practice since 1984. He is an owner of Care Animal Center where he practices companion animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Clark is a member of the AVMA, ALVMA, SEAVMA,and GDVMA veterinary medical associations. He is a past president of the GDVMA. He is also a member of the Dothan Kiwanis Club where he has served as past president.
Robert Martin, DVM
Dr. Martin is a graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has been in private practice since 1980 and is an owner of Care Animal Center. Dr. Martin is a member of the AVMA, ALVMA, SEAVMA and GDVMA. He has served as past president of the GDVMA and the ALVMA. Dr. Martin was selected as the Veterinarian of the Year in 2005 by the Alabama Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Martin currently practices companion animal medicine and surgery. He is a member of the Dothan Kiwanis Club and Mt. Gilead Baptist Church where he serves as a deacon. Dr. Martin and his wife, Liz, are the proud parents of three children Robert, Joshua, and Nanette.
Will Duke, DVM
Dr. Duke graduated from Mississippi State University in 1995. He is a member of the American, Alabama, Southeast Alabama and Greater Dothan Veterinary Medical Associations. He has served as president to the Southeast and Greater Dothan VMA. Dr. Duke has been a member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians since 1997. He currently practices companion, avian, and exotic animal medicine and surgery. He is also a member of the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians (AEMV) and the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV). The Duke family currently has a cat-Malawi and a bird-Aspen. Dr. Duke and Elizabeth are the proud parents of John William, Abigail, Caleb, Elijah, Joshua, Gideon, and Susanna. They both are members of Mount Gilead Baptist Church.
Kirk Holland, DVM
Dr. Holland practices companion animal medicine and surgery and is an owner of Care Animal Center. He graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine with honors in 2000. He is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Alabama VMA, Southeast Alabama VMA, and the Greater Dothan VMA. Dr. Holland serves on the Alabama VMA Executive Board and is currently the President-Elect. He is a past president of the Greater Dothan VMA and the Southeast Alabama VMA's. He is married to Kathleen and they have a son, Will. They have a Golden Retriever named Aubie. The Hollands are members of Logos Baptist Church and reside in Dothan.

Rita Campbell
Before working at Care, Rita worked locally for 25 years as an RN. She has years of experience with most farm and domesticated animals. Rita's favorite part of veterinary medicine is labor and delivery. She has two grandchildren who share her love of animals and nature. Rita currently shares her home with six dogs ranging from a tiny chihuahua to a a giant mastiff.
Alisha Crutcher, LVT
Alisha graduated Magnum Cum Laude from Jefferson State Community College with an AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2009. She has worked in the veterinary field for nearly ten years; over three of those years have been Care Animal Center. Originally from Northern Kentucky, Alisha and her adorable daughter, Kara, now reside in Dothan along with their two dogs and two cats.
Heather Hobbs
Heather has worked in the veterinary field for 16 years. She has been at Care Animal Center for five years. She loves assisting in surgery and takes great pride in her nursing skills. Heather and her husband, Johnnie, live in Dothan along with their five dachshunds.
Scott Palmer, Kennel Manager
Scott graduated from Snead State University in 2002 with an AAS in Veterinary Technology. He has worked at Care Animal Center for over 13 years. Scott, his wife, Vanessa, and their beautiful daughter, Marydelle, live in Dothan and are members of Covenant United Methodist Church. They have three dogs and three cats.
Janet Shockley, LVT
Janet is a 1978 graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and the University of Georgia. She has been at Care Animal for 13 years. She has been an officer and member of the AVTA & AVMA. She also previously served on the State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. She received the Alabama Lay Person of the Year in 2005. Janet has two daughters, Kristi and Britni. Janet and her husband, Evan, live in Climax, Georgia. "GO DAWGS!"

Sandy Kendall
Sandy has lived in the Dothan area since 1991. She has worked in the veterinary field for ten years and has been at Care Animal Center for over a year. Sandy is the proud mother of four-two boys & two girls. She also has four grandchildren-three girls & one boy. Sandy and her husband, Rusty, have two dogs and two cats. She is a proud Auburn fan.
Michelle Parrish
Michelle is a graduate of Rehobeth High School and Wallace Community College. She has an AAS in Accounting and Bookkeeping and has been at Care for three years. She has lived in Dothan all of her life with her two pets, Gypsy and Gurl. She attends Bethel Baptist Church and is a huge Auburn Football fan. "WAR EAGLE!"

Brian Bentis
Brian has worked at Care Animal Center for six years. He is a graduate of Wallace Community College. He has an adorable dachshund named, Julio, and is a huge Alabama fan. "ROLL TIDE!"
Shelley Clark
Shelley is a Senior at Dothan High School. When she graduates, she plans on getting her nursing degree at Troy University. Shelley has worked at Care Animal Center for almost a year. She has three dogs: Tyger, Dexter, and Lil Man.
Nayomi Lee
Nayomi has been working with animals for eight years; three of those years at Care Animal Center. She is currently pursuing a degree at AIU in Forensic Science. She has six dogs, six cats, and two tanks full of fish.
Jessa Pacatte
Jessa has worked at Care Animal Center for over a year. She is a Senior at Rehobeth High School. She plans to pursue her college education in New York in the Fall. Jessa and her family have nine pets: two dogs, four cats, one talkative bird, a leopard gecko, and a bunny rabbit.
Jennifer Rowe, Groomer/Animal Caretaker
Jennifer has worked at Care Animal Center for 11 years. She began grooming pets over four years ago. She and her husband, Henry, and their two children, Jeremy and Jessica, live in Dothan. They have five dogs-four pugs and a Boston terrier.
